& PCJCCI Launch Pak China Employment Exchange Program


The China Pakistan Economic Corridor is an initiative that highlights China’s support for Pakistan regarding development and economical progress that further strengthen the friendship between the two countries. The vast scale project has already brought in about over 3000 jobs for deserving Pakistanis and it is bound to bring in more opportunities such the Port Qasim Coal-fired Power Project alone bringing in job opportunities to 5,000 of Pakistani individuals.

In order to further strengthen ties through CPEC and bring in more employment opportunities, Pak China Joint Chamber of Commerce & Industry (PCJCCI) in collaboration with has launched the Pak-China Employment Exchange that connects Chinese employers to Pakistani employees.

The launch ceremony of the employment exchange program took place on the 18th of January at the PCJCCI office. The portal is expected to bring in opportunities for 7 million highly skilled Pakistani professionals across all sectors of industry and link the Chinese employers with Pakistani individuals has been made operational in the Chinese, Urdu and English languages so that all the participants are able to take equal parts in the program.

The Pak China Joint Chamber of Commerce & Industry was established in 2009 under Trade Organization Ordinance 2009 with a mission to accentuate on the proliferation of bilateral trade between Pakistan and China.
