NUST TechOne Incubator Opens Applications for Student Startup Business Center

For the second batch of startups interested in entering the Student Startup Business Center (SSBC), TechOne Incubator NUST has officially opened applications. Aspiring student entrepreneurs with a feasible start-up concept must compete in the SSBC Challenge 2020 in order to become part of the SSBC-NUST. SSBC is a joint project of the Pakistan Higher Education Commission (HEC), the Pakistan Foundation for the Promotion of Education (PEP) and the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) with the goal of supporting and starting student startups.

SSBC is aimed at encouraging young student entrepreneurs and improving their university realistic learning experience. Inside TechOne Incubator NUST, NUST SSBC provides free space for co-working, seed funding, incubation services. They also provide their startups opportunities to participate in national and international events. As we shift to a knowledge economy, SSBC is focused on driving creativity and entrepreneurship, and using industry linkages to find value-added opportunities that can be commercialised.

Participants must either be final year Bachelors students, Masters students, or PhD students from constituent schools and colleges of NUST in order to be considered for the SSBC Challenge 2020. Winning teams will receive seed capital, a one-year free-of – cost co-working space and access to all incubation facilities.
